Yarn Scoop Yarn and Knitting News

Rowan’s latest yarn is Purelife Revive, which is made from 36% recycled silk, 36% recycled cotton, and 28% recycled viscose.

Rowan Purelife Revive is made from used garments which have been selected according to the silk, cotton and viscose content. These are then carded to make regenerated fibre, which is then spun into this beautiful, high quality yarn, which gives life to new hand knitting designs.

Sahara, by Tahki Stacy Charles

Yarn Scoop Yarn and Knitting News

Sahara is the newest yarn from Tahki Stacy Charles. This yarn follows the seasonal trend into summery yarns, being made with 44% Viscose, 36% Bamboo, 20% Linen.

Its natural blend of fibers creates a lighter-than-air mesh yarn with a linen hand. Whether knit in simple Stockinette or in open stitch patterns, you’ll love the lightness and comfort of garments made in Sahara.

I think it looks a little like mummy bandages in the skein, but it could make some really interesting textures possible.
