This quarter’s Twist Collective has been posted. It’s a sock-stravaganza!
Also, everyone is apparently eating breakfast in bed. Am I the only one who cringes at the thought of crumbs? Or getting watermelon juice on that beautiful white quilt?

The new Twist Collective has proclaimed itself “a new generation of knitting magazine.”
Published entirely on the web, Twist Collective will have four regular issues a year plus two supplements. In-between times will be filled with “an email newsletter, additional patterns every month, a blog written by our contributors, and many other exciting features planned for the future.”
With Kate Gilbert at the helm as creative director, and patterns from name-brand designers like Cookie A., Cat Bordhi, Pam Allen, Veronik Avery, Norah Gaughan, Fiona Ellis, and more, Twist Collective is poised to make a big splash.
Will it give print magazines like Interweave Knits a run for the money? Articles about the Death of Print abound, but the internet has traditionally been a rough market for online magazines.
According to the media kit, the first issue will launch on August 1st (follow the countdown dots on the website).
